Keep Up With Your Fitness Plans in Key West

Vacation is a time for relaxation, but you can still maintain your healthy fitness routine while in Key West!  We make it easy here on the island. You can take in the sites of the Conch Republic while staying active, whether pedaling a bicycle through Old Town or paddling a kayak through the mangroves. Here are our favorite ways to stay fit around town.

Yoga on Sunset Green

Start your morning with a breath of fresh air and outdoor yoga, just steps from your stay at 24 North Hotel. Yoga is held every Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 11 am on the Sunset Green located right next door. It’s free for hotel guests, and mats and other supplies are included. All levels of experience are welcome to join.

Work up a sweat in the fitness room

Crummy weather doesn’t have to hinder your workout plan! Our onsite fitness room at 24 North Hotel is open for guest use and is equipped with top-of-the-line treadmills, dumbbells, an exercise ball and more.

Go for a run

The island’s flat terrain, plentiful sidewalks, and ocean views make it a lovely place for a run. Check out our favorite outdoor running routes in Key West, that range from pathways around Fort Zachary to the historic sites of Old Town.

Tour the island on bike

Once you spend some time on the island, you’ll see that the Conch Republic was built to be explored on bike. No uphills, no downhills, and no parking issues make biking accessible to most visitors. Paved sidewalks that stretch from 24 North around the island also make the activity safe. Guests can rent bicycles at 24 North, so you don’t have to worry about getting a ride to a bike rental place. Follow our quintessential Key West bike route.

Kayak around the mangroves

Want to give your arms a workout while exploring waters less-traveled? Kayak the mangroves in Key West. You can spot native birds, as well as those visiting us for the winter season from their northern homes. Opt for a guided kayak trip or paddle around on your own for a few hours. Read our recommendations and additional information here.
